Golf at Saint Andrew’s
America's oldest golf club (1888) and founding member of the USGA, Saint Andrew's is one of golf's most venerated historical venues. Only 20 miles from New York City, the Membership and their guests enjoy the game in a spectacular setting and play one of the area's best conditioned and exciting layouts — a challenging par-71 golf course redesigned as a Jack Nicklaus Signature Course in 1983 and further refined by Jack in 1999.
Stewardship of the traditions and history of the ancient and honorable game is a priority at Saint Andrew's. Members are proud to wear the Red Jacket and offer a spirited toast to the memory of John Reid, the founder of American golf, in the room that bears his name.
