Club Culture

Saint Andrew’s today is on the leading edge of change. Its Apple Tree Learning Center, opened in 2015, offers an array of advanced golf teaching technologies suited to the needs of golfers of all ability levels.  The Club’s extensive golf training campus has recently been expanded to five specialized practice areas. The enhancement of the magnificent Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course has proceeded unabated with hole layouts and greens artfully refined. The stately 1897 Saint Andrew’s clubhouse has been extensively renovated, presenting best-in-class member amenities while maintaining the essential character of this historic structure.

Saint Andrew’s is proud to boast the most ethnically diverse membership in the New York area. It’s also one of the very few clubs of any kind that can lay claim to being “gender blind,” with no restrictions on playing times for women members and or spouses of members who play in its Ladies Golf Association. The men and women of Saint Andrew’s Golf Club are passionate about their club and the game. A season long line-up of tournaments, historic inter-club competitions and international matches are distinguishing features of our golf focussed culture.

Our founders understood that leadership in a time of change requires vision, adaptability and focus. These qualities are alive and well at Saint Andrew’s and we remain united behind one common goal: “Advancing the Game.”
