Reid's Gate

The first hole at Saint Andrew's bears the distinction of being one of the original Mt. Hope course holes, designed and built by William Henry Tucker Sr. in 1897. A fairway wood is all you need to reach this fairway. However, the uphill approach requires an exactling shot and plays longer than the yardage indicates.
