Junior Golf Program

The Saint Andrew’s Junior Golf Program offers teaching programs for children of all ability levels beginning at age four and extending to age 18. Seasonal instruction begins with after school programs in the April 26- May 31 time frame followed by Clinics throughout the season and a summer Golf Camp for all ability levels (age 10-18) running June 27-30. New for 2017 will be a Summer Golf Experience offering full access to Saint Andrew's practice and playing privileges to children of non-member friends and families (subject to existing Saint Andrew's policies applicable to children).

The opportunity for Junior Golf competitive play begins early. Qualified program participants are eligible to play in PGA Junior League competition against other area clubs. In addition to Junior League competition there are two Club Tournaments (Junior Club Championship and Parent Child Championship), the Junior Four Corners Match (against the Apawamis Club, Bedford Golf and Tennis Club and Greenwich Country Club) and the Met PGA Pro/Junior Championship.

Two Family Golf Nights are held during the season, giving families of all sizes and golfing abilities the opportunity to get together for an evening of fun and camaraderie. Activities feature games which use golf equipment but do not require a great deal of golfing skill. The evening concludes with dinner on the deck where families have the opportunity to connect with others engaged in introducing their children to the game of golf.
